NORED

Northwest Ohio Regional Economic Development Association (NORED) is a non-profit association of economic development practitioners and partners spanning 12 counties throughout Northwest Ohio. It is a forum for the exchange of information among its members and others aimed at increasing job opportunities and improving the quality of life throughout the region.

SBDC

Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.

Fulton County Visitors Bureau

The Fulton County, Ohio Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization which is the leading authority on travel and tourism in Fulton County. It is fully engaged with local organizations and community leaders to successfully promote and develop tourism venues in Northwest Ohio.

JobsOhio

JobsOhio, the state’s unique private economic development corporation, acts as a catalyst for high-growth business investments and job creation that are helping propel the state’s ingenuity and ambitions forward. Founded 12 years ago, JobsOhio is a first-of-its-kind, state-authorized, nonprofit built with private stable financial resources, seasoned professionals with private sector expertise, a statewide network of economic development partners, and the long-term investment outlook needed to attract, retain, and expand businesses, payrolls, and career opportunities across the state.

Maumee Valley Planning

Maumee Valley Planning Organization (MVPO) mission is to include making and implementing joint regional decisions; providing management, planning and technical services to local governments; identifying and solving short and long-term problems best addressed at the regional level; bringing together local elected officials on a regular basis, giving them an opportunity to form working relationships; assisting planning efforts in community and economic development; providing a regional forum for sharing information and ideas; and promoting cooperative solutions to regional issues.

Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority

The port authority was established as the first port authority in the state of ohio in 1955 and has been connected to the local community for nearly 70 years. when most people think of the port authority, the words “airport” and “seaport” come to mind; however, the organization has evolved over time and from a broader perspective is now a leader in economic development.
