Economic Development Executive Director

The Fulton County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) is a well-established public-private nonprofit organization committed to driving growth and development across Fulton County, Ohio.

Fulton County, Ohio, is a rural area with seven unique communities, and is home to major employers like Sauder Woodworking, North Star Blue Scope Steel, Worthington Industries, ConAgra Foods, and Haas Door.  One of the major benefits of living in Fulton County are great schools and that it has a strong transportation network, including the Ohio turnpike, major state and U.S. highways, Norfolk Southern Railway, and the Indian & Ohio Short Line Railroads.  Plus, it is conveniently close to Toledo Express and Detroit Metropolitan Airports.

FCEDC is seeking an Economic Executive Director, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Public Administration or related field and/or equivalent of at least 3 years’ experience leading an economic development organization with a proven track record of achieving results.

Ideal Candidate will be an effective leader who is skilled at collaborating with and building relationships with community, business, public officials, staff, volunteers and FCEDC members to support and grow the local economy.  Primary focus is to lead economic development functions from conception to completion including business retention, business attraction and incentive programs in Fulton County Ohio.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other software programs.  Ability to communicate professionally at all levels and work independently as needed.  Salary range $80,000 -$120,000 depending on experience plus bonus incentives.  Benefits include retirement plan with paid time off and holidays.    Job Description for FCEDC Executive Director
