Fulton Leadership University – Capstone Project

Secure your spot in the next cohort of Fulton Leadership University today!

Students will bring a well defined problem that they are challenged with in their specific part of their organization that, when solved, will provide a meaningful and measurable Return on Investment (ROI) to their Department, Organization, or Company.

Capstone Project Criteria:

• Project must be considered and approved by the Sponsor / Mentor and the FLU Development Team
  • → Proposals submitted before our class session in December, 2026
  • → Approval before our class session in January, 2027
• Approval to implement the solution to the Capstone Project should reside with the students’ sponsor. Intent is a quick and measurable win!
• A 15-minute presentation will be required at our last class in May, 2027
  • → Must incorporate learnings from the leadership classes
  • → Consider presenting on the scope, process, challenges, roadblocks, plans, communications, successes, results, mistakes, and learnings of your project

Capstone Proposal Format

Proposals are due before our class session in December, 2026. Please send your proposal by email to Da**@*************lc.com

Please include the following details in your Capstone Project Proposal:

• Name & Sponsor / Mentor’s Name
• Description of Capstone Project
  • → One or two paragraphs that describes what success looks like to you
• Scope
  • → What is the “why” behind this project?
  • → Is this for your department or organization?
  • → How will you measure the ROI on your project and what will the status be in May, 2027?
  • → Done or part of a longer process?
• Timeline
  • → Identify 3 or 4 critical steps in the process and the dates for completion Benefits to organization / department if implemented
    Challenges / Hurdles
  • → Identify at least 3 potential road blocks Leadership skills that will be utilized
  • → Consider what you have learned (so far) through FLU or other leadership techniques
• Explain why this will be a “stretching” opportunity for your leadership development
• Include AI in your solution if applicable
